Tehran: Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has stressed that Iran does not trust the ceasefire, while it has different scenarios for any new act of adventurism. The Defense Minister made the remarks in separate telephone conversations with his counterparts from Turkey and Malaysia on Monday.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Nasirzadeh emphasized that the Islamic Republic does not seek to spread war and insecurity to the region, but it is prepared to respond decisively and crushingly to any aggressors’ acts of adventurism. He conveyed this message during his conversation with Turkey’s defense minister, highlighting Iran’s readiness for any potential threats despite the ceasefire.
Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Gler, on his part, acknowledged the ceasefire with satisfaction, expressing the belief that nuclear negotiations should conclude in a reasonable agreement beneficial to both Iran and the region.
In his communication with Malaysia’s defense minister, Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Nasirzadeh expressed gratitude for Malaysia’s support during the conflicts involving the United States and Israel. The Malaysian minister reaffirmed Iran as a friendly and reliable ally, condemning Israel’s actions and expressing confidence in Iran’s capabilities in the Middle East.
