Israeli Regime’s Strategy to Weaken Muslim Nations Highlighted by President Pezeshkian

Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the Israeli regime’s efforts to weaken and sow division among Muslim nations. During a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, President Pezeshkian stressed the importance of recognizing this strategy and countering it by fostering unity and solidarity across the Islamic world.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian reiterated the Zionist regime’s aim to undermine and fragment the Muslim community. He urged leaders and policymakers within the Islamic world to remain vigilant and work towards neutralizing this strategy by deepening cohesion and solidarity among Islamic nations.

President Pezeshkian highlighted the critical situation facing the Islamic world, underlining the necessity of unity and synergy among Islamic countries. He asserted that a united front against the Zionist regime could be formed if Muslim governments and nations fully understand the significance of Islamic unity. The regime, he noted, thrives by sowing discord and committing atrocities in Islamic societies.

Furthermore, Pezeshkian expressed satisfaction with the current bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic exchanges and constructive dialogue to enhance comprehensive cooperation. He appreciated Pakistan’s support during the Israeli-imposed war against Iran and expressed Tehran’s readiness to expand bilateral relations and mutual engagements.

In response, Pakistan’s interior minister conveyed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s greetings and respect to President Pezeshkian, congratulating Iran on its victory against the Zionist regime’s aggression. Naqvi praised the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei and President Pezeshkian’s strategic management, attributing it to the proud resistance that is a source of pride for the Islamic Ummah.

Naqvi also recalled Pakistan’s swift condemnation of the Zionist regime’s aggression, highlighting Pakistan as one of the first countries to denounce the aggression and affirm Iran’s right to self-defense. He described Iran-Pakistan relations as unique and steadily expanding, noting the diligent efforts of ambassadors to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
