Tehran: Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company has registered more than 20.7 million domestic and international air passengers during the first half of the Iranian calendar year, from March 20 to September 21, 2024. About 18.5 million passengers used domestic air traffic, and more than 2.2 million passengers used international air traffic in Iran during the mentioned period. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the figures show an 8% increase in domestic air passenger traffic and a 26% increase in international air passenger traffic. Reza Nakhjavani provided these statistics on Tuesday, reflecting a notable growth in air travel within and outside Iran.
