Bandar abbas: Eight Iranian Army personnel were killed in US strikes on military sites in southern Iran early on Wednesday, as announced by the Army.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Army issued a statement revealing that the personnel, who were part of Iran's air force and navy, lost their lives while defending the nation following what was described as 'criminal aggression' by the US military targeting areas in the southern cities of Bandar Abbas and Bushehr.

The statement further detailed that the service members were struck by enemy projectiles during the attacks. In response, the Iranian Army pledged to continue resisting adversaries 'until the last breath' and promised to seek retribution for the deaths of its martyred personnel.
