Tehran: The foreign ministers of Iran and Romania have reviewed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments during a phone call.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, discussed with his Romanian counterpart, Ioana Turcu, the latest developments regarding the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and shared Iran's perspectives on the matter.

The Romanian foreign minister expressed her support for ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the West Asia region. She highlighted the importance of continuing these efforts and fulfilling mutual commitments by all relevant parties.

Both ministers emphasized the necessity of ongoing consultations and the development of bilateral cooperation and relations in the future.
