Zagreb: Iran's national beach handball team has defeated Tunisia once again at the 2026 World Championship in Croatia.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian squad faced Tunisia on Sunday in the ongoing 2026 Men's Beach Handball World Championships in Croatia and secured a 2-1 victory after a tight contest. The national team had earned the right to meet Tunisia by beating Puerto Rico on the previous day and had already bested Tunisia earlier in the second round of the tournament.

The Iranian team is set to play against France today, competing for the ninth place in the world and the prestigious President's Cup championship title. The 12th International Handball Federation Men's and Women's Beach Handball World Championships are being held in Zagreb from 23 to 28 June 2026.
