Iran Seriously Damaged US Warships: Commander

Tehran: Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, deputy chief of staff of Iran's Armed Forces, has announced that Iranian forces have inflicted significant damage on US warships, claiming victory by thwarting the enemy's objectives. Heidari emphasized the prowess of Iran's Armed Forces, stating that their missiles successfully targeted and attacked US heavy warships and frigates.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the general highlighted two potential outcomes for the US military if it continues its aggressive actions against Iran. He cautioned that many US forces might return home on the same warships, while others could face a grim fate, sinking into the depths of regional waters. Heidari underlined that the US Navy and its warships represent the pinnacle of Washington's military capabilities, noting that no power has been able to challenge US naval forces since World War II.

General Heidari also remarked that the recent attacks have led the enemy to take precautionary measures in the Persian Gulf, attempting to maintain a distance of at least 500 kilometers from Iran. The United States and Israel initiated their second unprovoked war on Iran on February 28, leading to robust retaliatory operations by the Iranian Armed Forces on adversary positions across West Asia.
