Tehran:Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation with neighboring countries during a recent visit by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Tehran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi hosted Mirzoyan on Monday, where they discussed the expanding relations between Iran and Armenia. Topics included ways to deepen cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, transportation, energy, and other fields of mutual interest.
The meeting also covered developments in the Caucasus region, highlighting the necessity of maintaining lasting peace and stability. Araghchi asserted that regional issues should be resolved through the participation and initiatives of the countries within the region, without external interference.
The Iranian Foreign Minister reiterated that dialogue and cooperation with neighboring countries are prioritized by Iran to build a more secure, stable, and prosperous region. He concluded by stating that neighboring countries remain a priority for Iran.
