Iran Strongly Condemns Israeli Airstrikes on Yemen’s Hudaydah Port

Tehran: Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baqaei, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli airstrikes on Yemen's Hudaydah port and its infrastructure, labeling the attacks as violations of international law.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei's statement on Tuesday morning described the Israeli aggression as "a crime and a gross violation of the principles and rules of international law as well as the United Nations Charter in respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries." He urged the international community and regional countries to take effective measures to halt the bloodshed and destruction caused by the United States and the Israeli regime.

Baqar emphasized that the cessation of genocide and crimes by the Israeli regime in Gaza is the only way to prevent further insecurity in the region. He highlighted the need to end the impunity of Israeli criminals to achieve lasting peace.

The Israeli bombing of Hudaydah on Monday resulted in at least 21 injuries and inflicted damage on infrastructure, including a cement factory. Dozens of Israeli warplanes conducted these airstrikes as the Yemeni Armed Forces intensified operations in response to foreign aggression and Israeli actions against Palestinians.

The Israeli regime, with its primary supporter, the United States, has executed numerous similar strikes in recent months. However, Yemenis have consistently stated their resolve to continue resisting until Israel ceases its "aggression against Gazans and lifts its siege on the Palestinian territory."
