Tehran:Iran's Judiciary Chief, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, stated that the country has successfully countered enemy calculations regarding a naval blockade aimed at preventing essential goods from reaching Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohseni-Ejei highlighted during his visit to a strategic dry port that adversaries intended to use war and a comprehensive blockade to induce shortages and famine within Iran. However, these efforts were unsuccessful.

He credited the continuous import of goods during and after the war to the relentless efforts of officials and those involved in the import process, praising their dedication. Despite significant pressure from two recent wars, Iran remained resilient, overcoming military, social, and economic challenges, and thwarting attempts to create famine.

Mohseni-Ejei reiterated the Judiciary's readiness to support all sectors involved in importing essential goods, stressing the importance of maintaining the flow of these necessities without interruption.
