Birjand:A senior advisor to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning that Iran will target the interests and infrastructure of its adversaries in the region if the country is attacked again.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naqdi made these remarks during a public gathering in Birjand, South Khorasan Province. He emphasized that public participation in pro-government rallies illustrates the people's commitment to the Islamic Republic and its values.
Naqdi reflected on the Islamic Republic's 47-year history of confrontation with foreign powers, noting that enemy actions, such as assassinations, unrest, and war, have not weakened the resolve of the Iranian people.
He highlighted the success of Iran's Armed Forces in damaging enemy positions and equipment during recent military confrontations. Naqdi stressed that Iran's defensive readiness has influenced the strategic calculations of its adversaries.
Additionally, he urged national unity, calling on all segments of society to come together and prevent internal divisions, which could be exploited by enemies. Naqdi also emphasized the importance of religious faith, national unity, and readiness in countering foreign threats.
