Jakarta:Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, stated that Iran has previously inflicted damage on enemy vessels and is prepared to take similar action if further provocations occur.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sayyari emphasized that Iran possesses well-recognized capabilities and resources, allowing it to defend itself robustly. He asserted that Iran would act decisively to strike its enemies when necessary.

Sayyari also highlighted the Iranian nation's resilience and commitment to protecting the country's territorial integrity, the values of the Islamic Revolution, and its honor and dignity in the face of adversities.
