Tehran: The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, has issued a stern warning that any resolution passed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against Iran will be met with an immediate response. This declaration underscores Iran's steadfast stance on its nuclear program amidst international scrutiny. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami made these remarks during a joint press conference with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. Eslami emphasized that Iran has a consistent track record of resisting external pressures and remains committed to advancing its nuclear program in alignment with national interests. "Any resolution regarding Iran's nuclear affairs will provoke an immediate response," Eslami asserted, highlighting Iran's unwavering resolve to pursue its objectives without succumbing to external influences. Eslami further explained that Iran's engagements with the United Nations nuclear watchdog have adhered to the framework of the nuclear Non-proliferatio n Treaty (NPT). He reiterated Iran's readiness to cooperate if approached through engagement, but cautioned of decisive actions should alternative paths be taken. Rafael Grossi, in his remarks, described his visit to Tehran as significant given the current complexities surrounding Iran's nuclear dossier.
