Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has briefed his UK counterpart on the latest status of negotiations, progress in implementing agreements, and the consultations held regarding the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a phone call on Friday, Araghchi and Yvette Cooper also reviewed the latest bilateral and regional developments. Both sides emphasized the continuation of diplomatic consultations aimed at supporting regional stability, advancing the negotiation process, and achieving positive and sustainable results.

Earlier on Friday, Araghchi also held separate phone conversations with his Romanian and Uzbek counterparts to discuss the Islamabad MoU, regional developments, and bilateral ties.
