Islamabad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Pakistani counterpart, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the conversation took place on Friday evening, where Araghchi extended his gratitude to the Pakistani government and people for their hospitality during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's recent visit to Islamabad. Araghchi expressed hope that the agreements reached during the visit would be actively pursued and implemented.
Senator Dar appreciated the Iranian president's visit and updated Araghchi on the actions taken by Pakistani authorities to resolve the detention of the Iranian crew of the Lenore-Davina ship. The foreign ministers also reviewed recent diplomatic developments and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and consultation to establish lasting peace and stability in the region.
