Tehran:Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, Major General Ali Abdollahi, has issued a warning that any new aggression against Iran would have significant repercussions for countries hosting US forces in the West Asia region. He emphasized that the continued presence of American military forces is the main cause of insecurity and economic challenges in the area.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Abdollahi stated that there are ongoing efforts to utilize propaganda claiming Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons and is in a weakened state as a pretext for initiating another conflict. He addressed the US president directly, asserting that Iran would respond immediately to any US actions against it, whether directly or encouraged by Israel, regardless of the outcome of US congressional elections.

Abdollahi warned that US interests would be targeted without restraint, and any retaliatory actions by Iran would be severe, as evidenced in the recent conflict. He also cautioned nations hosting US military forces that a new war involving Iran would have widespread destructive effects.

He refuted Israeli claims that Iran's nuclear program had turned military, describing such assertions as delusional and a means to depict Iran as a threat. Abdollahi defended Iran's nuclear program as peaceful and criticized Israel, a nation with numerous nuclear warheads and a disregard for international law.

Abdollahi also advised international organizations, particularly the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), against making unfounded statements regarding Iran's nuclear facilities and urged them to cease adopting a deceptive stance.
