Tehran:The ambassadors of Iran to Thailand, the Vatican, and South Africa have met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the latest developments in relations with their host countries.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Nasseredin Heidari, Iran's Ambassador to Thailand, met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to address the current state of Tehran-Bangkok relations and explore future prospects. Araghchi highlighted the importance of strengthening economic and trade relations while activating existing potential in political, economic, and parliamentary areas.
Mohammad-Hossein Mokhtari, Iran's Ambassador to the Vatican, also held talks with the Foreign Minister. During this meeting, Mokhtari reported on recent activities and outlined plans to enhance cooperation between Iran and the Vatican, focusing on shared religious values and interfaith dialogue.
Similarly, Mansour Shakib-Mehr, Iran's Ambassador to South Africa, discussed the current relations with Foreign Minister Araghchi. The minister emphasized South Africa's role within Africa and international groups like BRICS, advocating for stronger ties. Araghchi praised the South African mission's initiatives in media and digital diplomacy, as well as their impact on global public opinion during the forty-day war.
