Nouakchott: Iranian Ambassador to Mauritania Javad Abou Ali Akbar met with Mauritania’s Minister of Culture and government spokesperson Houssein Ould Medou on the sidelines of the 14th edition of the Heritage Cities Festival Exhibition in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. The discussions primarily focused on tourism cooperation and intercity cultural initiatives. Both sides explored ways to strengthen cultural relations between Iran and Mauritania across various fields.
