Iran Ready to Enhance Multilateral Coordination with China, Says Iranian Envoy

Beijing: Iran’s ambassador to China has expressed Tehran’s support for building a community with a shared future for humanity and the four global initiatives proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The ambassador emphasized Iran’s readiness to strengthen multilateral coordination with China and help promote a more just international order.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ambassador Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli met with Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee. Rahmani-Fazli stated that Tehran is prepared to work with Beijing to accelerate bilateral diplomatic relations in the coming year, which marks the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership.

This milestone presents an opportunity to speed up the implementation of agreements between the Iranian and Chinese presidents, expand cooperation in economic, trade, investment, people-to-people, and local affairs, and strengthen the positive momentum in bilateral relations.

Liu Haixing described the recent meeting between the presidents of Iran and China as providing strategic guidance for future development in bilateral relations. He stated that the ruling party of China is willing to enhance exchanges with Iranian political parties and organizations to jointly implement the key agreements reached by the two presidents.

Liu added that China firmly supports issues related to Iran’s nuclear interests and will further strengthen strategic communications between the two nations. He also noted that deeper exchanges of governance experience would promote dialogue and mutual learning among civilizations, contributing to the sustained and stable advancement of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Iran and China.
