Mexico City:Iranian Ambassador to Mexico, Abolfazl Pasandideh, has been awarded the 'Global Leader of Change' award for his efforts to enhance diplomatic relations between Iran and Mexico.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pasandideh received the Lder Global del Cambio award from Change Global Group. The ceremony took place on Friday at the Iranian Embassy in Mexico City and was attended by members of the diplomatic community and other distinguished guests.
Anabel Hern¡ndez G³mez, who leads the Change Global Group, stated that the award recognizes individuals whose professional activities promote dialogue, peace, understanding, and cooperation among nations. She commended Pasandideh for his work in cultural, educational, sports, and media diplomacy, as well as his engagement with Mexican governmental and local institutions. His active involvement in Mexican society has contributed to showcasing Iranian culture and strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Upon receiving the award, Pasandideh referred to it as 'a valuable expression of friendship between the peoples of Iran and Mexico.' He highlighted the shared ancient civilizations and common aspirations for the future of humanity between the two nations. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of peace and dialogue, noting that lasting peace extends beyond the mere absence of war and requires respect for human dignity, justice, national sovereignty, and dialogue among peoples. Pasandideh also called on the international community to work towards a safer and more humane future for future generations.
