Beijing: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing on Wednesday as part of ongoing diplomatic consultations with various countries. Araghchi arrived in the Chinese capital on Tuesday for talks focused on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the visit is part of a series of diplomatic engagements by Iran's top diplomat with counterparts around the world. In recent days, Araghchi has held phone conversations with the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Qatar, France, and Italy to discuss key bilateral, regional, and global issues.

Last week, the Iranian foreign minister also traveled to Pakistan, Oman, and Russia. During these visits, he met senior officials and outlined Tehran's positions and decisions regarding the war imposed by the United States and the Israeli regime against the country.
