Tehran: The Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, which is part of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has made it clear that Iran's Armed Forces have not been involved in any recent missile or drone operations targeting the United Arab Emirates. They emphasized that if any such action had occurred, they would have openly announced it.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson for the Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, dismissed claims from the UAE Ministry of Defense about an attack on the port of Fujairah. The UAE Ministry of Defense had reported a missile and drone strike on Monday, but subsequent reports from Western media highlighted the involvement of Israeli defensive systems in the incident.

Zolfaghari addressed UAE officials, cautioning them against becoming a haven for American and Israeli military forces and equipment, which he described as a betrayal of the Islamic world. He urged the UAE not to fall under the influence of these nations and to avoid participating in media campaigns that falsely accuse Iran.

He expressed concern that the UAE has become a significant base for American and Israeli forces, contributing to regional instability. Zolfaghari warned that any military action from Emirati territory against Iranian interests would provoke a severe response from Iran. He linked the attack on Fujairah to the Trump administration's "Project Freedom," which he described as an alternative plan against Iran.

In related remarks, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted that recent events in the Hormuz region indicate that military solutions are ineffective for resolving political crises. He urged caution against being misled by those seeking to escalate tensions and advised both the U.S. and the UAE to exercise restraint.

Araghchi also criticized "Project Freedom," labeling it as "Project Deadlock."
