Iranian and French Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations in Phone Call

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrot engaged in a phone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and recent regional developments. The discussions revolved around mutual interests and the latest diplomatic processes affecting both nations.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the two diplomats exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, including the latest developments in the region. Earlier in the day, Araghchi also communicated with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss regional developments.

These conversations underline Iran's ongoing efforts to engage with key regional and international partners on pressing diplomatic issues. The talks with Qatar's Foreign Minister, which also took place on May 17, focused on regional developments affecting the Gulf region.
