Tehran: The Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters expressed his gratitude for the efforts and role of healthcare workers during the recent imposed war, saying that 'healthcare personnel proved bullets are not the sole component of power.'
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Ali Abdollahi, in a message of appreciation honoring the martyrs of the war, especially the healthcare personnel who lost their lives, wrote: 'Along this glorious path, the heroic nation of Iran and the Armed Forces have always benefited from the magnificent role of the healthcare personnel who sacrificed their lives to save the wounded.'
The senior commander also extended his heartfelt gratitude for the continuous and vital efforts of doctors, nurses, medics, and other healthcare workers serving across all medical centers and health departments, who revived the lives of more than 34,000 wounded individuals during the imposed war.
'Healthcare workers proved that on the battlefield, the component of power is not merely the bullets, but the powerful hands that restore the light of hope and life to the wounded during the darkest moments,' he added.
