New York:Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul held discussions on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi engaged in a series of meetings with various foreign counterparts and senior officials during the UN General Assembly in New York.

In addition to his meeting with Wadephul, Araghchi also conferred with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin. On the first day of the assembly, he held talks with foreign ministers from Switzerland, Italy, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Belarus, Greece, Iraq, and Qatar, as well as Norway's deputy foreign minister and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
