Tehran: The Iranian Army announced it has conducted new drone strikes targeting US military installations in Kuwait. This action comes in response to what Tehran describes as recent US attacks on Iranian soil.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian Army issued a statement on Sunday detailing the early morning strikes, which were purportedly a reaction to the United States' breaches of international treaties and its assaults on civilian regions. The statement confirmed that Iranian drones specifically targeted a US ammunition depot at Camp Buehring and equipment and personnel hangars at Ali Al Salem Air Base. Both sites, according to the report, had been previously targeted.

The statement from the Iranian Army emphasized that their military operations are intended to protect Iran's national identity, historical legacy, and its people. It stated that these actions are in line with Islamic principles, which reject both the imposition of oppression and submission to it. The Army highlighted its commitment to defending Iran against both domestic and external adversaries, describing this stance as guided by 'divine teaching.'

Earlier, the Iranian Army reported that it had specifically aimed at the ammunition stores of the American forces at Camp Udairi and also the Patriot radar and aerial systems at the Ali Al-Salem base. These attacks were executed using heavy volleys of drones, aimed at inflicting significant damage.
