Tehran:Iranian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia has issued a strong response to comments made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, labeling the United States as the "most criminal regime in history."
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Akraminia reacted to Rubio's statements on Iran, in which Rubio claimed that Iran is a country explicitly targeting commercial vessels, behavior not seen since World War II.
In his response, General Akraminia accused the US of acting with "utter savagery" during negotiations, referencing incidents where 168 children and several athletes were allegedly killed using banned bombs, alongside 104 sailors in a foreign land, and a strike on a wedding in a country they were confronting.
General Akraminia posed a rhetorical question, asking if such criminal behavior has ever been witnessed from ancient times to the present day.
