November saw sales of approximately 2,054 billion rials (around $2.93 million) through 86,241 screenings, marking a substantial recovery for the industry.According to Islamic Republic News Agency, this achievement is underscored by a 37% increase in sales and a 46% surge in audience numbers compared to October. The remarkable growth reflects the audience's renewed interest in cinema and the diverse offerings available in Iranian theaters. This resurgence in viewership comes as a relief to the industry, which has been striving to recover from the challenges posed by the pandemic.The cinema sector's revitalization is also attributed to the variety of films and increased quality of productions, drawing audiences back to theaters.
