Iranian FM to Review Two-Year Foreign Policy Record in Public Interview

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to appear in an interview tonight to review his two-year foreign policy record as part of the second phase of the Iranian government's public accountability reports. This initiative aims to provide citizens with a transparent view of the government's actions and achievements over the past two years.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the public accountability effort began with President Masoud Pezeshkian, who engaged in a three-part conversation with the public. This initiative has now transitioned into its second phase, focusing on cabinet members, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi being the first to participate.

The interviews, conducted under the directive of President Pezeshkian, are structured to present a transparent and realistic overview of the performance of the National Unity Government. Through these interviews, the government seeks to maintain transparency and foster trust with the Iranian public by openly discussing its foreign policy strategies and outcomes.
