Ashgabat:Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, for discussions with the country's officials.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi arrived in Ashgabat on Monday, leading a delegation that includes diplomatic, economic, and parliamentary officials. The delegation was welcomed by officials from Turkmenistan upon their arrival.

The main agenda for Araghchi's one-day visit includes discussions on bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and exploring ways to enhance political and economic cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan.

Relations between Tehran and Ashgabat have seen continuous growth over the years, with both nations emphasizing the importance of utilizing existing capacities to further advance their bilateral ties.
