Lisbon: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has provided details regarding his recent three-day visit to Lisbon, where he participated in the 10th World Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations of the United Nations. Araghchi emphasized the significance of the meetings held on the sidelines of the summit, which included discussions with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and foreign ministers from Spain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Tunisia, and Algeria.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi outlined the key objectives of his participation in the forum, notably addressing the ongoing crisis in Gaza. He underscored the urgency of holding those responsible for the actions of the Zionist regime accountable. Araghchi also highlighted the importance of adhering to the temporary orders issued by the International Court of Justice to combat the genocide of the Palestinian people. Furthermore, he called for the immediate enforcement of the court’s decision to arrest the criminal prime minis
ter of the Zionist regime.
During his visit, Araghchi stressed the necessity of international cooperation and dialogue in addressing global conflicts and promoting peace.
