Mashhad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held discussions with Pakistani Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi in Mashhad. The meeting took place as Naqvi visited the city to pay homage at the holy shrine of Imam Reza.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi arrived at Mashhad's Shahid Hasheminejad Airport on Wednesday afternoon. He was welcomed by Khorasan Razavi Governor Gholam-Hossein Mozaffari and the Foreign Ministry's representative in northeastern Iran, Gholam-Abbas Arbab-Khales.

Naqvi, who was in Mashhad to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza, engaged with Araghchi at the airport upon the Iranian foreign minister's arrival.
