Iranian Military Official Criticizes Enemy’s Strategy

Tehran:The deputy chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has criticized what he calls a grave miscalculation by foreign adversaries in their attempts to destabilize Iran. Brigadier General Yadollah Javani stated that external forces wrongly believed that military attacks, sanctions, civil unrest, and the assassination of Iranian officials could lead to the country's collapse within a short period.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Javani made these remarks during a specialized training course for school managers in Hormuzgan Province. He emphasized that the assumption that eliminating leaders would weaken Iran's defense and government resolve was incorrect.

Javani highlighted the role of Iran's national unity and the vigilance of its people in counteracting these threats. He stated that the Iranian Armed Forces' quick responses demonstrated the nation's foundation on strong religious and popular principles.

Addressing Iran's military strength, particularly in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman, Javani noted that foreign naval forces have retreated over 1,000 kilometers from Iranian waters due to the country's missile, drone, and naval capabilities. He predicted that the region's future would depend on collective security among Islamic nations and the withdrawal of foreign aggressors.

The general also underlined the importance of schools and teachers in what he termed a 'cognitive battle,' suggesting that foreign adversaries have shifted their focus to influencing Iran's younger generation after failing to achieve their objectives through direct military means.
