Tehran: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced it has struck an enemy command-and-control center and an airbase in Jordan using a volley of ballistic missiles. A statement posted on the IRGC's information portal on Thursday says the Iranian Armed Forces had previously warned that any repetition of aggression would expand their response to other enemy bases in the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC Aerospace Force targeted the enemy's command and control center in West Asia and a US airbase in Al-Azraq, Jordan, this afternoon. The IRGC emphasized that other American bases would not be safe from its heavy fire should the US military repeat its aggression.

Iran launched a two-phase missile and drone attack on key US infrastructure and facilities after the United States violated a ceasefire by targeting multiple locations in Iran's southern coastal provinces, as well as two bridges leading to the holy city of Mashhad in the eastern provinces. The IRGC's statement underscored that the response was in retaliation for the actions of what it described as the "child-killing US military," highlighting the heightened tensions between the two nations.
