Iranian MP Warns of Severe Consequences for New Hostile Actions

Kerman:Tehran Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, has issued a stark warning that any new hostile actions against Iran will result in a significantly harsher response.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Azizi emphasized that any reckless, miscalculated, or repeated mistakes by adversaries will lead to far heavier, more painful, and more costly consequences than before. He made these remarks during the inauguration ceremony of an independent police command in southern Kerman Province.

Azizi highlighted that the new command symbolized the reliance of security on public support and the unwavering resolve of the Iranian people. He affirmed that Iran's Armed Forces, including the Army, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and the Law Enforcement Command, are steadfast in their commitment to defending the nation.

He further noted that adversaries aim to undermine the Islamic Republic's credibility and legitimacy. However, Iranian officials' adherence to promises and their honest service are expected to bolster public trust and institutional legitimacy. Azizi also paid tribute to the late Brigadier General Qassem Soleimani and other resistance commanders, stating their martyrdom would not be forgotten.

The establishment of the southern Kerman command is seen as an initial step towards enhancing security in southeastern Iran. Azizi stressed that sustainable national security requires a comprehensive approach, particularly in border regions.
