Jakarta:According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has criticized the US leadership, suggesting that the real enemy of the American people is not external threats but their own government's warmongering policies. This comment came in response to US President Donald Trump's remarks about a potential Iranian attack on Los Angeles and San Diego, which he described as having a negligible cost.

Baqaei, in a post on his X account, argued that the US government fabricates an imaginary enemy to instill fear among its citizens, diverting attention from the real threat posed by its own ruling establishment. He claimed that the true danger does not come from beyond US borders or from the skies over American cities, but from a government that has engaged in illegal warfare with global repercussions.

He further criticized the US president's willingness to portray the destruction of major cities as an acceptable sacrifice, describing it as a tactic to manipulate public fear and distract from genuine threats.
