Tehran:President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran, guided by the strength of its people, is resolute in defeating the economic challenges posed by its adversaries.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian, while addressing Iran's law enforcement commanders, emphasized the necessity of tackling all aspects of the economic conflict facing the nation. He highlighted the collective determination and unity of the Iranian people as key factors in resisting US-Israeli pressures and overcoming the economic war.
He compared the economic struggle to a military conflict, noting its severity despite being less apparent. The president reaffirmed the government's commitment to serving its citizens and overcoming the economic challenges.
Pezeshkian began his address by honoring the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, and Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, alongside other martyrs, including law enforcement officers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Commending the police force, he acknowledged their role in maintaining national stability and preventing chaos following military strikes. He criticized the US-Israeli bombing campaign as an example of aggression masked as human rights advocacy.
Expressing gratitude to the Iranian populace for their resilience and collaboration with security forces, Pezeshkian underscored that Iran would remain unyielding against threats as long as it had the people's backing. He assured citizens that the administration's role is to serve them, not to dominate.
The president concluded by affirming that national dignity is achieved by standing firm against adversaries and relying on the people's strength. A nation willing to make sacrifices is essential in achieving this goal, he stated.
