Saravan:Iranian security forces have successfully neutralized five members of a terrorist team in the city. The operation took place in Saravan, located in the southeastern region of Iran, and was conducted by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps' Quds Base.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the joint operation involved collaboration between the IRGC, the Intelligence Ministry, and police forces. It was initiated following a public tip-off and subsequent intelligence efforts that identified the terrorist team's plan to launch an attack in Saravan.

The operation resulted in the arrest of several team members and the seizure of weapons and ammunition from their hideout. However, one member of the security forces was killed during the clash.

The Quds Base revealed that the terrorist team had links to the United States and Israel, and their objective was to destabilize the Sistan-Baluchestan province.
