Iranians Stand Firm in Protecting Their Leader, Says Government Spokesperson

Tehran: The spokesperson for President Masoud Pezeshkian’s administration has declared that the Iranian people will not permit any harm to come to their Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. This statement underscores the nation’s resolve to protect its cultural heritage and civilizational wealth from foreign threats.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during her weekly press briefing, Fatemeh Mohajerani emphasized that adversaries have underestimated Iran’s resilience. She noted that external forces have attempted to incite unrest through aggression and targeted assassinations of security personnel and military commanders. However, these efforts have failed to sway the Iranian populace.

Mohajerani provided updates on the casualties from the ongoing U.S.-Israeli conflict, citing the Ministry of Health’s report. The figures reveal 5,646 individuals injured and 935 fatalities, which include 140 women and children.

She further condemned the Israeli regime’s actions against Iran, labeling them as crimes under international law. In response, Iran has initiated formal complaints with the U.N. Security Council and various human rights organizations.

Addressing concerns about Iran’s nuclear sites following U.S.-Israeli strikes, Mohajerani confirmed significant damage to these facilities. In terms of diplomatic relations, she acknowledged that discussions between Iran and the United States remain uncertain, with no timeline established for potential talks. The Iranian administration is yet to make a decision on future negotiations.
