Tehran: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has urged the Iranian populace to uphold unity and cohesion as the primary strategy to counteract emerging enemy conspiracies. In an audio message delivered on Wednesday, Ghalibaf emphasized the critical importance of national unity in the face of new divisive actions by adversaries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf recalled the US-Israeli imposed war on Iran, highlighting past attempts by enemies to destabilize the Islamic Republic through high-profile assassinations. These plots, intended to dismantle Iran within three days, were thwarted by the collective resistance of the Iranian people and their armed forces. He noted that the country's history of unity has consistently undermined enemy conspiracies.

Ghalibaf also discussed pre-war strategies by adversaries aiming to incite discord within Iran by infiltrating terrorists and mercenaries into peaceful protests. He pointed out that despite the failure of a Venezuela-like plot, enemies attempted to recruit separatists for a coup, which was successfully countered by Iran's military and intelligence vigilance.

The Speaker urged the Iranian people to remain steadfast in their unity, asserting that every conspiracy concocted by enemies has been defeated. He cited an example where a plan for ground invasion in Isfahan, involving helicopters and planes, mirrored the disaster faced by enemies in Tabas decades ago.

Ghalibaf concluded by warning of continued enemy efforts to destabilize Iran through economic pressure and naval blockades, coupled with a propaganda war. He described US President Donald Trump's threats and the illegal naval blockade as futile attempts to force Iran into submission, reiterating that unity and cohesion remain the nation's strongest defense.
