Tehran: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on Saturday that Iranians would remain steadfast in pursuit of the country's ultimate success and dignity, marking the first anniversary of last year's 12-day US-Israeli-imposed war against Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf expressed the nation's commitment by highlighting the sacrifices of those who lost their lives during the conflict. 'Following the example of the heroic and oppressed martyrs of the 12-day war, we will stand to the last breath for the pride and final victory of our beloved Iran,' Ghalibaf wrote in a message posted on his X account.

He emphasized the tragic loss of innocent children during the war and accused the attackers of not refraining from any acts of crime or cruelty. The conflict, which began on June 13, 2025, with an Israeli offensive against Iran, concluded on June 24. Iran's military response led to a ceasefire, effectively ending the hostilities.
