Tehran: Iran's acting defense minister has declared that the nation's defense capabilities are strategically focused on deterring war and aggression, emphasizing that Iran will never permit any military incursion against its sovereignty, independence, and national security.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ebn-e-Reza made these remarks during Iran's Defense Industry Day. He highlighted that during the recent 40-day conflict, Iran demonstrated significantly greater strength compared to the previous year's 12-day confrontation. Ebn-e-Reza noted that the techniques and tactics employed in the 40-day war were more advanced than those used in the earlier conflict.

Ebn-e-Reza elaborated that during the 40-day imposed war, Iran targeted enemy bases with improved precision, showcasing its military prowess against what he described as two terrorist armies, namely the US and the Zionist regime. He asserted that this demonstrated Iran's military capabilities to the world.

He also pointed out that the visible achievements in Iran's defense industry are merely a fraction of their potential. Ebn-e-Reza credited universities, scientists, engineers, and knowledge-based companies as integral parts of the defense industry, all working tirelessly to maintain national security and authority.
