Isfahan: A senior advisor to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has highlighted Iran's ability to withstand international pressure through domestic strength. Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi emphasized the nation's success in resisting a joint American-Zionist war of aggression, despite having a defense budget that is a fraction of its adversaries. He made these remarks during a ceremony honoring over one thousand martyred employees from Isfahan Province.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Naqdi pointed out Iran's advancements in satellite and military equipment production using indigenous capabilities. He noted that after the Islamic Revolution, efforts were made to prevent Iran from accessing even basic weapons. Nevertheless, the country has managed to emerge victorious in confrontations by leveraging its internal resources. This resilience has been acknowledged, albeit privately, by some regional envoys.

General Naqdi highlighted that much of the equipment for Iran's Armed Forces is now domestically produced. He underscored the importance of focusing on production in economic policies to tackle issues like inflation and unemployment. Addressing Iran's water scarcity, he argued for increased productivity by adopting modern, scientific agricultural practices, rather than relying on traditional methods.

Further, he stressed the necessity of eliminating administrative hurdles to boost public participation in production. He urged executive bodies to support economic activists by removing unnecessary regulations. The senior commander also paid homage to martyred leaders, including President Mohammad Ali Rajai and Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar, commending their unwavering dedication to the nation despite adversarial propaganda.
