According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the terrorist team was dealt a decisive blow upon entering the Saravan region, during a joint operation involving the General Intelligence Directorate, the IRGC Intelligence Unit, and the provincial police. The statement from the Quds Force Headquarters on Saturday revealed that the group was intending to carry out a series of terrorist acts in the province in conjunction with the US-imposed war on Iran.

The timely counter-terrorism operation led to the death of one and the arrest of six members and supporters of the team. A significant cache of equipment, including 20 packages of explosives and accessories, light and medium-heavy weapons, ammunition, and Starlink communication devices, was also seized from the terrorists during the operation.

The Quds Headquarters has issued a warning that terrorist groups are under full surveillance and any move will be dealt with severely. They emphasized that the security of the people of Sistan and Baluchestan remains a red line, and the Iranian Armed Forces would not allow any mercenaries to enter or move in the region.
