Iran’s Embassy Condemns Hamburg Court’s Ruling on Alleged Intelligence Links

Hamburg:Iran's Embassy in Germany has criticized a recent court ruling in Hamburg, dismissing the decision as invalid and based on unfounded security-related claims against Tehran. The embassy described the ruling as an example of the West's double standards and political posturing directed at Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Hamburg court sentenced two individuals on October 15, alleging that one of the defendants had connections to Iran's intelligence service and was involved in planning actions against specific figures and Jewish centers in Germany.

The embassy's statement highlighted the peaceful coexistence of different religious communities in Iran, emphasizing that respect for followers of Abrahamic religions, including Jews worldwide, is deeply embedded in Iranian history, culture, and religious beliefs.

Additionally, the statement criticized the West for its inconsistent approach to the security of religious followers. It pointed out that the West's silence on attacks against Jewish religious sites in Iran contradicts their human rights claims.
