Iran’s Embassy in France Denies Claims in French Media on Internal Affairs

Paris: The Iranian embassy in France has strongly rejected recent reports published by some French media outlets concerning Iran's internal affairs.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the embassy refuted what it described as false and fabricated claims circulated by some French print and broadcast media, including Le Figaro. These reports alleged that certain former Iranian officials have taken measures against the system.

The embassy's statement emphasized that these allegations are pure fiction, potentially based on misinformation or speculation provided to the authors, and are categorically denied. It further described the reports as part of an organized campaign to disseminate disinformation aimed at damaging Iran's image, asserting that they lack credibility and factual basis.

The embassy clarified that limited judicial actions taken against a small number of political figures were related only to public statements made during recent unrest, and those individuals were released following the completion of investigations.

Furthermore, the embassy criticized the linking of unrelated issues, viewing it as additional evidence of the groundless nature of the allegations. It called on journalists and media outlets to exercise greater professional care in verifying sources and reporting on matters related to Iran.
