Iran’s Envoy Highlights Lasting Impact of Martyred Leader’s Vision on Global Freedom Movements

Mexico city: Iran's ambassador to Mexico, Abolfazl Pasandideh, has expressed that the legacy of the martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei continues to be a source of inspiration for nations pursuing freedom across the globe.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, a heartfelt gathering took place in Mexico City as the grand funeral ceremony for Ayatollah Khamenei was underway in Tehran. The event drew Muslims and members of Iran's diplomatic mission in Mexico, who came together to express solidarity with the Iranian nation and honor the memory of the late Leader.

Mexican participants conveyed their sympathy and support for the people of Iran, offering sincere messages of compassion and paying tribute to the martyred Leader. Ambassador Pasandideh thanked the organizers and attendees, emphasizing that the funeral was not merely a mourning event but also a reflection of the historical significance of a figure who led the Islamic Republic and was recognized as a leading thinker and religious authority in the Shia world for over three decades.

The farewell ceremony for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and his family began on Saturday morning at Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran. Ayatollah Khamenei and four of his family members, including his toddler granddaughter, were martyred in a terror attack on their house by the US and Israeli regimes, marking the onset of their war of aggression against the Iranian nation.
