Mashhad: Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, confirmed yesterday that the next round of indirect talks with the United States will be held in Oman tomorrow. The Omani side is expected to announce the time to start the negotiations.
According to Nam News Network, Araghchi made the remarks during an interview with Shahrara newspaper, on the sidelines of his visit to the north-eastern Iranian city of Mashhad. The discussions are part of Omani-mediated efforts addressing Tehran's nuclear program and the removal of Washington's sanctions.
Araghchi noted that Omani officials had sought Iran's opinion on setting the meeting date for tomorrow. Iran agreed to the proposal, and it appears that Oman has communicated with the United States. As of now, the negotiations are scheduled to proceed as planned.
