Iran’s General Warns of Stronger Retaliation Amid Military Advancements

Tehran:Iran's top military commander has issued a stern warning that any renewed aggression against the country will be met with a more forceful response.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of the General Staff of Iran's armed forces and Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, emphasized the expansion of the Army's drone manufacturing capabilities during a recent visit to military production facilities. He praised the development of multiple drone production lines, highlighting the readiness and innovative capabilities of the Armed Forces.

The general noted that Iranian specialists have upgraded military equipment to surpass previous models in advancement and capability. Drawing lessons from past conflicts with the United States and Israel, Abdollahi stated that Iran is better prepared for future aggression. He stressed the importance of asymmetric warfare to counter technologically advanced adversaries with less expensive but effective systems.

Abdollahi further warned that if Iran faces another attack, it will use a broad range of affordable systems to offset the advantages of sophisticated weapons, complicating military operations for its adversaries. He also acknowledged the progress toward self-sufficiency in defense, following the direction set by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and reaffirmed the military's commitment to defending Iran's territory and values.

The general concluded by asserting that the Iranian public's determination to resist has strengthened despite adversarial actions, and both the population and armed forces remain resolute.
