Sanya: Iran's national Kabaddi team secured a victory against Bangladesh at the Sanya 2026 Asian Beach Games. Iran overpowered Bangladesh 47-31 on Saturday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian team comprised of Mohammad Mallak, Moslem Rashaki, Ali Suratchi, Mobin Nazari, Amirhossein Alizadeh, and Mahan Faraji participated in the 6th edition of the Asian Beach Games. Farhad Kamal Gharibi served as the head coach, while Mohsen Valorian took on the role of team manager for the event.

Iran's squad, named 'Martyrs of Dena Destroyer,' competed in a range of sports at the games, including football, wrestling, kabaddi, basketball, handball, volleyball, water polo, athletics, rock climbing, and jiu-jitsu.
